Ooohh~! The sandman~! Or rather, sandwoman, hehehehehe~.
"Darck Eve. You do not sleep very often, do you?" Earie smiled, tilting her head slightly to the side.
Caelyn jumped slightly in surprise as he looked at the woman before him. He blinked before raising an eyebrow and grinning. Crossing his arms over chest, he said: “Well, Earie, finally found a puppet to match your personality and age, hm?”
He shook his head, smiling. “I think it suits you. Lovely face.”
Earie hugged him tightly, still laughing as she did. “Caelyn, you are just simply too sweet for words! I did, and isn’t she lovely?! I’m so glad to finally be out of that little blonde girl. I’ve had her since the beginning, I believe.”
"You’re puppet suits you too, you know. Handsome and sweet as ever."
The pitch black colored dagger that was in his pocket reappeared in the demon wolf’s paw as he held it out and open in front of him. He tossed it up and caught it as it fell, repeating his actions multiple times. “Happy creatures are a good thing. No one likes a grumpy or mean one.”
A soft chuckle escaped the demon’s lips. “Oh yes. Met them….numerous times now….but yes. Quite the friendly bunch those two are.” He shook his head, “Outside of those two, I just…know of too many demons that are evil and twisted. Its quite rare to find a nice one. Even tricksters, like you, can be nice. And when they’re pretty? It just makes it so much more rare as well~” He was clearly half-flirting with the woman, trying to make her forget his original ruse.
"Indeed." Earie nodded.
As he spoke, she giggled a little, nodding even more to what he was saying. “I know, I know. They’re both rude creatures, but… That’s just Death and Darkness for you. Same old same old.” She tilted her head to the side, raising an eyebrow out of curiosity. “Zax, please tell me if I’m wrong, but are you trying to flirt with me?”
“Hmm… It has been some time. A few months ago I saw a few of Greeks.” She shrugged. “Perhaps they have been keeping to themselves lately? But I find that hard to believe.”
"I find that very hard to believe. They’re always so nosy and that.. Whatever the Sleep God’s name is. He’s always trying to out do me."
“Hm? I haven’t the slightest idea. I don’t keep track of the gods.” The woman waved her hand dismissively.
"Well, ladeedeeda. Sorry I asked." Eare giggled. "I haven’t seen him in almost 3 centuries."
Earie ran up to him, grinning widely. “How do you like my new puppet?!”
His front was working apparently, Zax pleased with the fact that Earie was buying his kindness for now. “No no. Not around me. You’re never at fault here with me.” He grinned widely, seeming sincere.
He crossed his arms and looked right into her eyes, “You’re nicer than I expected for the Sandman. A lot more nicer than the others I’ve met around here too. Quite intriguing really. You have all that power and yet, you still ask permission to use it.” He looked a bit puzzled by that.
With that one sentence, Earie knew something was up, but she didn’t allow it to show, keeping the excited smile painted on her face. “Well, if everyone gave me as much respect as you, I’d be a happy creature.”
With a soft giggle, she looked down, forcing a blush to spread across her cheeks. “Sounds like you’ve met Oogie Boogie and perhaps Death. I’m not always kind, but I try to stay civil in most situations. I’m a kind of trickster of sorts.” Her eyes danced in the moonlight mischievously. “Why so confused? Not all of us Eternals have to be violent, rude, or mean.”
